On Monday, October 14th, 2013, the Carmel Mountain HOA met with interested residents to discuss their proposed changes the pets rule, After about an hour of discussion, the board voted unanimously to amend the existing rule to limit residents to two animals (dogs, cats, birds, fish in an aquarium). No livestock, no farm animals, no poultry (egg-laying, etc). Also excluded, although likely difficult to enforce, are small household pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, rats, reptiles and so on.
